So, here’s what I’m thinking...

   Officially looking for a new long-term role

   After spending 6+ years focusing on design and dev education - and consulting/contracting in parallel - I needed a bit of a break to recalibrate! Maybe I’ll talk about some of those lessons - and how it felt to let the machine slow down -- but right now, I want to make it official. I’m on the hunt for my next long-term mission-driven team.

   A first look at my new portfolio structure

   After spending years helping other people design and build their portfolios, it’s my turn! How am I going to tell this story? A background in art college, web dev, consulting, product design... but not your average story in corporate America. Instead - a wide range of hands-on, fast-paced roles that lead to breadth and depth... I can already tell I’m over engineering it... ;)

   A new direction for this website

   I got along without a “portfolio” for a long time! Sometimes landing a cool job with a comically simple 1-pager. But it’s time! So, I’ll do what I have all my students do - and design a system that does its job.
